waxing

What is waxing?

Waxing is a professional hair removal technique that removes hair directly from the root, for a clean, smooth, and long-lasting result.

Unlike shaving, which cuts the hair at the surface, waxing allows for slower and more even regrowth. With time and regular maintenance, hair becomes visibly finer, softer, and less dense.

This method also improves skin texture by removing dead skin cells from the surface, leaving skin smoother and more radiant after each session.

The difference between warm and hot wax

WARM WAX
This wax is specially designed for sensitive areas. It coats the hair without adhering to the skin, significantly reducing discomfort and irritation.

It is applied warm and then removed without strips, allowing for maximum precision, especially on delicate areas.

Ideal for: bikini, Brazilian, underarms, face

WARM WAX
This wax is applied in a thin layer and then removed with strips. It adheres lightly to the skin, allowing for exfoliation during hair removal.

It is perfect for working quickly and efficiently on large areas.

Ideal for: full legs, half legs, arms, back

Regarding your hair removal:

Let your hair grow out
Make sure your hair is about 0.5 cm long (approximately 2 to 3 weeks of regrowth) for better wax adhesion.

Exfoliate your skin (24-48 hours before)
A gentle scrub helps remove dead skin cells and prevent ingrown hairs.

Moisturize… but not on the day of your appointment
Keep your skin well-hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment, but avoid creams and oils on the day of your appointment.

Avoid shaving between appointments
Shaving can make hair more difficult to remove and disrupt the regrowth cycle.

After your hair removal:

Avoid heat for 24 hours
No hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, or intense workouts to prevent irritation.

Do not touch the waxed area
Avoid touching or rubbing the skin to limit bacteria and redness.

Moisturize skin daily
Use a gentle lotion to keep skin supple and healthy.

Exfoliate after 2-3 days
Regular exfoliation helps prevent ingrown hairs and keeps skin smooth.

Avoid sun and UV rays
Skin is more sensitive after waxing—protect it to avoid blemishes and irritation.
